Oh, boy 🔥
I'm quite impressed by each of these tracks in their own ways.
The Steve James remix remained chill to the end, leaving the vocals pretty intact. It left me with an end-of-summer-road-trip feel. Stay calm and Steve James your Soap, I guess. I like it.
Gladiator's remix is my personal favorite, hands down, because of its undeniable ability to command you to sing and/or twerk in the same few mins. Toward the end, you'll want more of this banger. It made me want to dance battle everyone, idk; go hard.
Stooki Sound had me drooling over the deep, grimy bass that clings to the back of your brain. Its slow tempo makes each wub almost sexy. My second favorite (:
Luxxury's remix had an immediate funk feel and a familiarity that reminds you of the most recent all-inclusive birthday party you attended. There's an old, lovable beat in there too. Where it lacks in lyrics, it makes up for in comfortably 'dancable' rhythm. Ohoho, and it's kinda long, but whatever.
I found Sailors remix singable and nearly minimalist. Trumpet licks are charming these days. Yet another reminder than Summer's over, but not really. Thanks.
Jerome Price hit the nail on the head with some nostalgic 90s-00s club dance. Smooth, steady, great vocal breaks for when you're dancing too hard. In the least, this one is reliable, with its modern filter.
A+, people. Thanks for the earworms.
