Ever since 2011 after American Capitalist, this band has took a turn, music isnt as engaging as it use to be, this band use to be one of my top favorites but I cant say they are anymore, because I more listen to the old stuff pre 2013. Newer stuff just doesnt cut it. If anyone likes this band or liked older stuff, please give Bad Wolves a shot, they are honestly what ffdp should be by now, but they do it better in my opinion, I saw the live concert, the crowd seemed ten times more interested in this band then ffdp. Because Bad Wolves has something to prove. FFDP doesnt anymore, they seemed like the rebelious band talking about problems and feelings in america, and now its just a hipsters rebellion fantasy for dumbies, easy to listen to, easy to understand, bland sounds and words. They are still good people dont get me wrong, they are still good people, but the sounds are to bland for me.

This album deserves 5 stars just for how well they covered Gone Away by Offspring. One of the best covers I’ve ever heard.

Love this remake. For a gal that loved the ballads and songs of Southern Rock & Big Hair 80’s Music... I was pleasantly surprised with this particular song. Didn’t enjoy 5FDP until now. Groups need to evolve... when they do; it’s easy to lose followers. On the flip side; they gain new followers as well. Great job on this song! Love it.
  • The edge and attitude

Of previous records seems to be gone in this album. Definitely not as aggressive and lacking the usual groove.
  • Sick and tired of bad reviews

Everyone in the band has fought overseas and their songs are about their experiences in war.
  • Awesome!

Love these guys, yet another album with every song a good one. So many bands just have 1 or 2 per album and these guys knock it out of the park yet again! Keep up the good work.

  • Soulless

Wow. "Gone Away" is Dexter Holland's opus, and I am in complete disbelief that FFDP was capable of actually creating a completely soulless version of the song... Seriously, look on Youtube and you'll see people on every continent on this planet doing soulful covers of that song. I almost want to give them credit for completely draining that song of any emotion or spirit. Absolute radio-friendly stock cookie-cutter garbage. Just because it's dressed up to sound heavy doesnt mean its good rock.
  • Very Good!

There's actually a lot of variety in this album. The complainers are just picky as hell. You can hear different riffs and a sense of variety if you actually listened. They also sound nothing like Nickelback or Limp Bizkit so check up on your facts! :) Great album overall and all songs do have to do with a problem in a persons life whether it's said flat out or not! He chooses to say 'em flat out and I think that's great!
